How DevEx works
- Earn Robux from your games or creations: game passes, developer products, private servers and more.
- Once you have 30,000 Earned Robux, open the DevEx portal from your Roblox account and request a cash-out.
- Roblox checks the request and pays you in US dollars. You can have one completed request per calendar month.
- If you still have Robux earned before 5 September 2025, those cash out first at the legacy $0.0035 rate.

How many Robux do you need to DevEx?
At least 30,000 Earned Robux, which is $114.00 at the standard rate. Bought Robux don't count, only Robux you earned.
Who can use DevEx?
You need to be at least 13, have a verified email on your Roblox account, have a DevEx portal account with a W-9 (U.S.) or W-8 (outside the U.S.) tax form, and be following Roblox's Terms of Use and Community Standards.
How often can you cash out?
One completed DevEx request per calendar month.
What counts as Earned Robux?
Robux from your game passes, developer products, subscriptions, private servers and paid access, Creator Rewards, avatar item and Creator Store sales, and similar earnings. Robux you bought, got from a subscription, received as a transfer or got from trading don't count.
Does Roblox take a cut before DevEx?
Yes, at the point of sale: you receive 70% of a game pass, developer product or private server price as Earned Robux. Tick the sale price box in the calculator to work that out.
